Teachers say that participation recruitment has been so successful that the number of students who have signed up exceeds the instrument supply.
Elementary band is being re-introduced at the Aberdeen school district grade schools this year and band
teachers say that participation recruitment has been so successful that the number of students who
have signed up exceeds the instrument supply. Along with a grant request that is being prepared to get
more instruments, any community members who have an instrument they're willing to donate to the
growing music program are asked to bring them to the District Office on North G St., during regular
business hours, M-F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
