An attempted contact with a juvenile turned into a foot chase Sunday night for Elma police.

An attempted contact with a juvenile turned into a foot chase Sunday night for Elma police. Grays Harbor Scanner reports three juveniles took off running from officers just before 9 p.m., prompting multiple units to respond and search the area. Police eventually detained two of the juveniles, then later caught the third suspect as well. Authorities have not yet said what led officers to initially look for the juvenile.
