WSDOT crews will close off the Elma rest area later this week for maintenance and repairs ahead of the busy summer season.

WSDOT crews will close off the Elma rest area later this week for maintenance and repairs ahead of the busy summer season. Workers will clean up litter, remove overgrown vegetation and repair and deep clean rest rooms and other facilities. The rest area along State Route 8 in Grays Harbor will be closed from this Wednesday morning until the following Thursday afternoon. The next rest area is along I-5 in Thurston County, approximately 31 miles away.
