Thirteen firefighters battled the blaze, knocking it down within an hour and wrapping up by mid-afternoon.

Fire crews rushed to the Alaska Motel in Westport on Wednesday after a trailer went up in flames just before 1 p.m. Thirteen firefighters battled the blaze, knocking it down within an hour and wrapping up by mid-afternoon. Nobody was inside at the time, but one firefighter was treated for exhaustion and later released. Westport Police and the PUD also stepped in to help keep the scene safe. No word on a cause.
