The deadline to get your special election ballots turned in for proposition 1 to combine the Aberdeen, Hoquiam and Cosmopolis Fire departments into one regional fire authority is tomorrow. According to supporters, forming the RFA would keep the departments funded as they currently are, but would allow for a faster and more effective response to the rising number of calls for service in all three communities. Your completed ballot must be turned in to a drop box or postmarked by 8pm tomorrow.
