Fireworks are legal in the City of Montesano from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. now through July 3, with extended hours on the Fourth of July until midnight. On July 5, fireworks are again allowed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The city reminds residents that these times apply only within Montesano city limits, and other areas may have different rules.
