Former Aberdeen School Board Member & Wife Of State Lawmaker Killed In Traffic Accident

There’s still no word on a cause for the crash.  The truck driver was not hurt. 

A former Aberdeen School Board Member and wife of a state lawmaker was killed in a traffic accident with a log truck on Monday.  Washington State Patrol says Jamie Walsh, wife of 19th district state rep Jim Walsh, may have crossed the center line on highway 101 and hit a log truck going in the opposite direction head on.  The wreck happened around 11am Monday near milepost 79 as Walsh was driving southbound, while the truck was headed north. The highway was closed off for several hours for first responders and accident investigators. There’s still no word on a cause for the crash.  The truck driver was not hurt.
