Goats Rock Fire At Zero Percent Containment As Of Monday

As of a report on Monday, The Goats Rock Fire was at zero percent containment and has grown to over
3,600 acres as of Monday. There was a Red Flag warning issued yesterday in the vicinity of the fire,
indicating windy, dry weather conditions that could make a fire spread quickly. Areas still in the
evacuation level one includes northeast of Butter Creek and north of U.S. Highway 12, including Lower
Timberline and Goat Rocks. Residents in these areas should be ready to leave if asked to by officials.
