You can now apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program.
There’s a new way for Grays Harbor residents to apply for free internet service from the federal government. You can now apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program, or ACP at the Xfinity Retail Store in Aberdeen. The program provides a $30 ACP monthly credit to those who qualify. That credit can then be applied to the Xfinity Internet Essentials Plus plan that includes internet service of 100 Mbps, a cable modem and access to a network of WiFi hotspots for $29.95 per month. According to Census data, about 7,500 households in Grays Harbor are eligible for the program.
