The Hoquiam Fire Department says local personnel and equipment has been mobilized to help fight a wildfire along the Snake River in Eastern Washington. The Whitman County Sheriff's Office says the fire has burned approximately three-thousand acres. Two brush trucks with firefighters and medics from Grays Harbor were mobilized with the Central Region Strike Team number 1 Thursday and are on their way to the Long Hollow Fire that officials say was likely caused by a lightning strike.
