Hoquiam City Council Still Hasn't Decided On Olympic Stadium Color

A member of the Historic Preservation Commission warned against using any kind of paint on the cedar siding.

Even after a workshop this week, the Hoquiam city council did not decide on a color for Olympic Stadium.  Several color schemes were suggested for the outside of the stadium.  A member of the Historic Preservation Commission warned against using any kind of paint on the cedar siding, but rather stain the wood. The choice of two samples, possibly a natural; color and a more aged, gray color are expected to be brought up at the June 27th meeting.
