Hoquiam Police Chief Meyers Announces Retirement.

After serving in law enforcement for over 33 years.

Hoquiam police chief Jeff Meyers has announced his retirement. Meyers had been the head of that department for the past 16 years and said he has been in law enforcement for over 33 years, has worked for the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s department, Oakville Police, and served as deputy chief for the Montesano police department.  In a resignation letter posted on the Hoquiam Police Social media page, Meyers said “It will certainly not be easy to say goodbye”, The Chief said he is retiring to spend more time with his family. His last day on the job will be June 30th
