The city of Hoquiam announced this week they were one of just 8 cities in Washington to receive the annual Governor’s Smart Community Award. The award have recognized Hoquiam’s commitment to smart planning and dedication to implementing community projects. The city specifically recognized for its Downtown and Olympic Stadium Revitalization Plan. This is the 4th time since 2010 Hoquiam has won the award.
