Housing Summit At GHC

Grays Harbor College hosted the county’s first Housing Summit this week, pulling together local leaders to talk solutions for the housing crunch. The Daily World reports about 60 people, including city officials, builders, and real estate professionals spent the day tackling issues like workforce housing and permitting delays. County commissioners have already labeled housing a top priority, pushing for partnerships that can get more homes built at every income level. Organizers say it won’t be solved overnight, but the summit is a starting point to get everyone working together.
