After receiving new body armor plates from Hesco in Aberdeen.
Police agencies across Grays Harbor County are updating their protective gear after receiving new body armor plates from Hesco in Aberdeen. Officers from multiple departments took delivery of 23 new armor sets Thursday to replace expired equipment used during high-risk incidents. Aberdeen Police say the newer plates weigh about half as much as the old gear, helping officers stay mobile during long operations. Hesco provided the equipment at a discounted cost to help local agencies upgrade their safety equipment.
