Marijuana sweep at MJHS

K-9 unit trained in detecting marijuana were part of a sweep of Miller Junior High in Aberdeen yesterday. Similar to the sweep done at Aberdeen High School a few weeks ago, the junior high campus was placed on a modified lockdown for over an hour while drug dogs from Clallam Bay and Stafford Creek Corrections Center searched every classroom and backpack.  Aberdeen police officials say the exercise was part of a continuing effort to keep schools safe and to let student know they are serious about keeping drug free schools.   A press release from the school district did not say if those dogs hit on anything suspicious.
