More Clam Digs On The Way

Six days of Razor Clam digs for next week have been approved by coastal shellfish managers. In making the announcement yesterday, officials say that morning tides usually bring new participants and larger crowds, so they want to remind beach goers to respect the 25 MPH speed limit and only drive on the hard-packed sand near the high tide line to keep diggers safe and avoid crushing clam beds. The approved dig dates run from March 26th through the 31st. As a reminder, anyone 15 or older must have a valid fishing license to participate in the clam digs. Details on getting one of those can be found on our website. https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/login
