The mother of missing 6-year-old Oakley Carson pleaded not guilty to fraud charges Monday. Jordan Bowers did not appear in court in person, but through zoom at the county jail. Bowers is charged with multiple counts of identity theft and through her court appointed attorney, entered the not guilty pleas. The judge, considering her somewhat of a flight risk, set her bail at $50,000. She faces up to 7 years in prison if convicted on all charges. Her trial date is set for late March. Her daughter Oakley has been missing since 2021 and neither Jordan nor the girls father are helping investigators in their search for the girl.
