Pacific County’s health department shows the COVID risk is high

The latest report from Pacific County’s health department shows the COVID risk is high.  The county says there has been 32 new positive test results in the past week and 43 new cases throughout the county in the last 2 weeks.  There has been 3 people admitted to the hospital for treatment of COVID-19 this week but there have been no new virus-related deaths this week. Pacific County health officials say the case county per 100,000 people is 194, which is considered high.  Even though there are no mask requirements in the state, the county’s COVID risk gauge is considered high, and it’s recommended you wear a mask when you are at indoor public settings.
