The crash Friday afternoon on State Route 12 and 4th Street South in Satsop where one person was trapped inside a burning vehicle.

East Grays Harbor Fire and Rescue responded to a crash Friday afternoon on State Route 12 and 4th Street South in Satsop where one person was trapped inside a burning vehicle. Bystanders used a fire extinguisher before crews arrived, and firefighters quickly extricated the victim, who was taken to a local hospital along with a second patient. Two vehicles blocked a westbound lane, and while responders worked, two more non-injury crashes happened nearby. Officials urge drivers to slow down and stay alert around emergency scenes.
