Port Of Grays Harbor To Receive Over $25 Million In Federal Funding

The money will go to enhance and expand rail tracks, cargo holds and more that will lead to some port tenants being able to grow their business as well.

It was announced late last week that the Port of Grays Harbor will receive over $25 million in federal funding for upgrades and renovations. The money is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration’s Port Infrastructure Development Program.  The money will go to enhance and expand rail tracks, cargo holds and more that will lead to some port tenants being able to grow their business as well. Port officials say the projects that the funds will cover will help grow the local economy and create more jobs in Grays Harbor for years to come.
