The city of Montesano has issued a notice about construction work later this month on a section of W. Pioneer Ave. The work will have crews removing and replacing the sidewalk and storm drains from 4th street to 6th Street. Once the sidewalks and drains have been updated, the street will then be paved. The contractor will accommodate pedestrian traffic in the work zone, but businesses in the affected area should expect no direct parking access for most of the month long project. Work should get underway the week of June 12th.
