The state’s Boating Advisory Council is looking for two new members. The boating council advises the Washington State Parks and Rec. Department on watercraft-related policies. The Council meets four times a year, twice in the spring and twice in the fall at the State Parks Headquarters in Tumwater and there is a virtual option. They are asking for either experience with Injury prevention and public health or recreational boating education. The deadline to apply is February 21ST, the two members will be chosen by the Parks director in March. Get details on how to apply on our website.
