The City Of Montesano Has New Councilwoman

She will take over immediately and remain through the rest of the current term.

At last week’s meeting, councilmembers heard from two residents who were both interested and qualified for the position to replace Dan Wood, who stepped down earlier this summer. Scott Roth and Dawn Thomas both spoke about taking over the district 7 seat. After a discussion, the council chose Dawn Thomas to fill the position. She will take over immediately and remain through the rest of the current term. She will then have to resubmit paperwork to run for office again if she chooses.
