Three of Washington's national parks will receive over one-million dollars after a record breaking fundraising year. Washington's National Park Fund has awarded one-point-one-million to Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks. The money will go towards improving and maintaining the Wonderland Trail as well as to develop an online accessible trails guide. The parks fund raises money to support projects at the national parks by collecting donations from individual and corporate donors and fundraising events.
