WSDOT shows out of over 7,000 bridges in the state, over 500 are considered in “poor” condition, including 30 bridges in Grays Harbor. While Crews recently finished major rehab work on the State Route 109 bridge, the state shows major bridges in the county are labeled in Poor Condition including the Simpson Avenue bridge in Aberdeen. Meanwhile 7 bridges in Pacific County are also marked in poor condition. State officials say just because a bridge is listed in poor condition, does not mean it is unsafe for drivers.
