The Aberdeen Bobcats could lose home field advantage due to a miscommunication about a water permit. At the school board meeting this week it was announced that the new turf installation at Stewart Field will be delayed due to a drainage permit not being filed because the contractor thought it was not required. That looks to put the turf installation behind by about 2 weeks with the Aberdeen football team having to move its annual Aberdeen-Hoquiam football game on September 2nd and the Aberdeen-Montesano Game on September 9th to a different field. So far, no alternate locations have been announced. The Bobcats should be able to play on the new turf at their September 16th. Game against Centralia.
