After the Coast Guard pulled four people from a capsized boat out on the water.
Hoquiam firefighters were sent to Bowerman Airfield on Monday after the Coast Guard pulled four people from a capsized boat out on the water. Grays Harbor Scanner reports the call first came in as a medical emergency at the Westport Coast Guard Station before crews were redirected to the airport. Hoquiam Fire says one patient was in serious condition and the others were treated for hypothermia when the helicopter arrived. All four were taken to Harbor Regional Hospital, and officials say they’re still waiting for more details on what caused the boat to flip.
