Patients in Pacific County will soon have access to newer medical technology thanks to a federal grant.
Patients in Pacific County will soon have access to newer medical technology thanks to a federal grant awarded to Willapa Harbor Hospital. More than $1 million will be used to replace aging imaging equipment, including an 18-year-old CT scanner. Supporters say the investment will help residents receive advanced diagnostic care closer to home instead of traveling long distances. Hospital leaders say the new equipment will improve patient care and expand services in the rural community.
