Council members say figures show that medical and ambulance operating costs have gone up by $2 million per year since 2017, which equals a 60 percent increase. The rate will go up incrementally starting January 1st from the current $19.23 to $38.64 per month. By 2026 the ambulance utility rate will be at $43.28
