It didn't take long to apprehend.
In Hoquiam on Tuesday morning, an inmate being transported to a hospital escaped from the back of the ambulance on 11th Street and took off toward the bridge. The Grays Harbor Scanner reported that police caught up with the escapee and put them in custody about 9:34 a.m.
