The City of Ocean Shores has temporarily closed the road at Marine View Drive between Wawona and Sea Breeze due to safety concerns.

The City of Ocean Shores has temporarily closed the road at Marine View Drive between Wawona and Sea Breeze due to safety concerns. Officials say the closure includes all entrances to the berm, which are now inaccessible to the public. City leaders are working with the Army Corps of Engineers who has offered to provide large sandbags that can serve as a temporary solution to prevent a breach. Officials ask that you avoid climbing or walking in the closed area until further notice.
