Grays Harbor County Fire Marshal Burn Ban

Due to dry conditions locally, the Grays Harbor County Fire Marshal’s office has put burn restrictions in place for the county.

We told you about burn restrictions in Eastern Washington last hour… Due to dry conditions locally, the Grays Harbor County Fire Marshal’s office has put burn restrictions in place for the county.  As of today, residential yard waste and land clearing burning are prohibited until further notice.   The use of charcoal briquettes or recreational campfires are allowed as long ss they are in approved enclosures.  Campfires on private lands are also still permitted provided specific rules are followed.  Fire officials do remind you to always make sure and extinguish your fire before leaving the area either with water or moist soil. These restrictions are temporary and as soon as they are lifted, we will pass along that information to you.
