Time is running out for local students hoping to secure scholarship money. The Grays Harbor Community Foundation says applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. March 1, with more than $1 million set to be awarded this year. Hundreds of students heading to colleges and trade programs nationwide are expected to benefit, and the awards can be renewed for up to three more years. Applications are available online, and foundation staff are encouraging students to reach out with questions before the deadline.
