Oakville Firefighters Respond To Gibson Creek Road Fire

Crews arrived to find fire pushing through the ceiling and began evacuating the occupants.

Oakville firefighters responded Monday afternoon to a structure fire on Gibson Creek Road after callers reported flames coming from the back of a home. According to Grays Harbor Scanner, crews arrived to find fire pushing through the ceiling and began evacuating the occupants. Mutual aid was requested from Thurston County as crews worked to get the blaze under control. Less than 3 hours later Fire officials reported overhaul was complete and some units had begun clearing the scene.
