The driver died and two children were injured in a single car crash this weekend in Pacific County. Grays Harbor scanner reports the wreck happened just after midnight Saturday on US 101 near the Grays Harbor-Pacific County line. Washington State Patrol says the 38-year-old female driver was traveling southbound, lost control and crashed into a tree on the northbound side. Two children, ages 9 and 11, were taken to the hospital for injuries. No drugs are alcohol were suspected, but troopers say the woman was driving too fast for the road conditions.
